Our Joint Research Project “EMSig”

The EMSig project, which runs from April 2024 to March 2027, focuses on the development of a hyperspectral measurement platform for the detection of crop damage symptoms in protected tomato cultivation. In collaboration with our partners at the Julius Kühn Institute and Wolution GmbH, our goal is to revolutionize plant protection by providing an autonomous system that identifies risks early and reduces the need for chemical interventions.
This initiative is in line with EU and German agricultural policies to minimize pesticide use and promote sustainable agriculture. The project ist funded by Bundesministerium für Ernährung und Landwirtschaft.
